From almost the time Sarah was born, she was like a little clone of my mom. My mom has always had a severe weakness for shoes, fancy high heels were her favorite, but almost every pretty shoe caught her eye. Sarah’s first word was “shoe”. If we took her in a shoe store when she was barely crawling, she would pull down every pair she could reach, but was drawn to the fancy shiny ones just like “granny”.
My mom loves to sing and play piano. Also something she shares with Sarah Hope
Things shared -Sinatra,Shoes,Old Movies, No Bake cookies,organizing drawers, cabinets etc…..but please God, not cancer. Two souls so much alike, so full of life and spunk. So determined( that’s the positive word I used for Sarahs stubbornness) Stubberness is something I believe girls need in this life to survive and I am grateful they both have been blessed with this “gift”-July 19th..wrote this before taking mom to the hospital for a breathing test to see if she can have the lung cancer surgery. Sarah spent the night with her granny last night because she wants to go with her today to the appointment.
